Warranty Policy
Manufacturer warranties, DOA and defective products, claims, and exclusions for technology products.
As a technology reseller, vCloud Choice Inc. primarily relies on manufacturer/OEM warranties. Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing on a quote or invoice, vCloud Choice Inc. does not provide a separate product warranty beyond facilitating eligible DOA, return, or manufacturer claim processes. This policy supplements our Standard Terms of Sale and Return Policy.
1. Manufacturer / OEM Warranty
Most new hardware and many software products include a warranty from the manufacturer or publisher. Coverage, duration, and remedy (repair, replace, or credit) are defined by that vendor’s warranty terms, not by a separate unlimited warranty from vCloud Choice Inc.
Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing on a quote or invoice, vCloud Choice Inc. does not expand, extend, or independently guarantee manufacturer warranties.
2. DOA and Defective Products
If a product arrives dead on arrival (DOA) or is defective due to a manufacturing fault, contact us promptly at [email protected] with your order number, product identifiers, and a description of the issue. We may request photos, troubleshooting steps, or an RMA.
Remedies may include replacement, manufacturer RMA facilitation, or other options consistent with the Return Policy and vendor rules. Do not return products without authorization.
3. Warranty Claims
Many warranty claims must be opened directly with the manufacturer. We can help identify support contacts and, where we are authorized, assist with the process. Keep proof of purchase.
4. Exclusions
Warranties typically exclude damage from misuse, unauthorized modification, improper installation, environmental conditions, accidents, or normal wear. Consumables, opened software licenses, and NCNR/custom configurations may have limited or no return/warranty paths beyond what the vendor allows.
5. Refurbished / Open-Box Products
If we offer refurbished or open-box items, any warranty difference will be stated on the product listing, quote, or packing materials. Where not stated, assume coverage is limited to what the seller/vendor provides for that condition grade.
