Categories of vendors that process personal data for vCloud Choice Inc., and how to request a contractual DPA.
To operate our Website, accounts, payments, communications, and support, vCloud Choice Inc. works with carefully selected service providers (sometimes called processors or subprocessors). This page explains the categories of vendors that may process personal data. It is an informational overview — not a signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
1. Our Role
For most Website, account, shop, and support interactions, vCloud Choice Inc. determines how personal information is processed for our own business purposes (controller-type role). Where a business customer engages us under a written agreement that requires us to process personal data solely on that customer’s documented instructions, we will address that relationship in a separate contractual DPA.
2. Subprocessor / Service Provider Categories
Depending on the products and features you use, personal data may be processed by providers in the following categories:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure — application hosting, databases, file storage, and related security services.
- Payment processors — card authorization, settlement, and fraud screening for checkout (for example Stripe-class processors).
- Email and messaging — transactional email (orders, verification, password reset) and, where permitted, newsletter delivery.
- Analytics — optional measurement tools (for example Google Analytics) only after applicable cookie consent.
- Customer support and case tools — ticketing or case logging used to respond to inquiries.
- CDN / security edge services — performance and basic abuse protection where used.
3. Safeguards
We require service providers to use personal information only to perform services for us (or as otherwise permitted by contract and law) and to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security measures. Providers and tools may change as operations evolve.
4. Requesting a Contractual DPA
If your organization needs a signed Data Processing Agreement, Standard Contractual Clauses, or a current subprocessor list for a specific enterprise engagement, email [email protected] with “DPA Request” in the subject line. Availability depends on the nature of the relationship and applicable law. Publishing a one-size-fits-all DPA on this Website does not replace a negotiated agreement reviewed by counsel.
